Yamuna Srinidhi after leading a glorious and celebrated life in USA for 15 years as a Classical Bharathanatyam dancer, choreographer, social/charitable leader and a cultural torchbearer, moved back to India in 2012. Not the one to rest on her laurels, she lapped up an opportunity which came her way to pursue her passion of acting. In just a short span of 9 months, she has made an indelible mark in the movie/TV industry with her talent, skills and professional ethics.

She made her TV debut on E-TV's serial AswiniNakshatra in a major Role. Her dedication, punctuality & talent soon spread to the silver screen as well & she was offered a role in a Kannada movie titled "DilRangeela" with Golden star Ganesh, which was released on March 7th 2014. An interesting and little known fact about Yamuna – She was the only student of legendary Bharathanatyam GuruPadmabhushanaDr.KVenkatalakshmamma to have acted in Dr.Venkatalakshmamma's documentary shot in 1985.

Her talent and popularity in the industry led her to act with a most popular actor/director TS.Nagabharana in a Kannada Tele movie titled "DilKhush" which was telecast on 12th January 2014. Yamuna just completed a significant role in a Kannada movie titled "Melody" with singing sensation and actor Rajesh Krishnan which will be hitting the big screens soon. Yamuna has been a breath of fresh air and is surely going to enjoy a long successful career.
